Trekking Time: 4–6 hours | Meals Included: Lunch, Dinner
Route: Ban Lung – Veun Sai – O’Lalai River – Kok Lak Village – Jungle Camp
Your adventure begins at 8:30 AM when we pick you up from your hotel and drive 45 km north to Veun Sai village, about an hour away. From there, a small boat will take us upstream along the O’Lalai River, where you’ll pass through breathtaking landscapes with lush vegetation lining the riverbanks.
Upon reaching Kok Lak village, the trekking begins! You’ll journey through a variety of landscapes, from open farmland to dense jungle. Along the way, we’ll stop for a lunch break at a farmhouse or by a peaceful stream. Before continuing deeper into the jungle, you’ll have a chance to prepare—changing into protective clothing to avoid insect bites and scratches from the thick vegetation.
As we trek further north, the forest becomes denser. Eventually, we’ll enter primary jungle, where the terrain becomes more rugged, leading us up into the hills. We’ll take breaks along the way to soak in the jungle’s beauty and catch our breath.
By 4:30 PM, we’ll arrive at our campsite near a stunning waterfall. Here, you can take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear river at the base of the falls—perfect for cooling off after the day’s trek. As the evening sets in, your guide and ranger will prepare camp, cook dinner over a campfire, and set up hammocks with mosquito nets for a restful night in the jungle.
