Hotel Pickup:
We pick you up from your hotel in Siem Reap or Battambang before 1 PM and transfer you to the local boat dock.
Start the Boat Ride:
Board a traditional wooden boat with comfy seating, a sunshade roof, life jackets, a toilet, and hammocks.
Cruise Through Floating Villages:
As the boat moves along the Tonle Sap Lake or Sangker River (depending on where you start), enjoy beautiful views of floating villages, stilt houses, old pagodas, and local fishermen casting their nets.
Visit a Handicraft Workshop (Prek Toal or similar):
Stop to visit a local handicraft center where villagers create eco-friendly products using dried water hyacinths. Learn how they turn plants into bags, baskets, and mats.
Arrive at Koh Chinouk Floating Village:
After about 2.5 hours, you’ll reach the homestay. Settle into a floating house where a friendly local family welcomes you. Rooms come with clean bedding, mosquito nets, and shared toilets.
Dinner & Relaxation:
Enjoy a home-cooked Khmer dinner, chat with your hosts, and watch the sunset over the peaceful water.

Morning at the Homestay:
Wake up to the sound of nature and have a light breakfast prepared by your host.
Continue the River Journey:
Board the boat again and cruise deeper through the floating communities. You'll see:
- Fish farms in bamboo cages
- Children playing in the water
- Chickens and ducks on floating gardens
- 100-year-old wooden pagodas
- Daily life happening on boats and riverbanks
Picnic Lunch on Board:
Enjoy a packed lunch from the homestay while relaxing on the boat.
Arrival at Destination:
After about 5 hours on the water, you arrive in either Battambang or Siem Reap, depending on where you didn’t start. A Tuk Tuk will be ready to bring you to your hotel.
